Bruce M. Portnoy, O.D.

Dr. Bruce M. Portnoy graduated from the University of Illinois Chicago with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1973.

Dr. Portnoy enjoys playing with his grandchildren and writing, having published his first fiction novel, "the Other Side of Dr. Wolf", in 2009. He works with all general practice patients with particular interest in eyeglasses.

Leticia M. DeMaio, O.D.

Dr. Leticia M. DeMaio graduated from Knox College with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1989.

Dr. DeMaio is board certified in the diagnosis and treatment of eye disease and has completed numerous post graduate courses in laser vision correction and therapeutic management of eye disease. She is also a member of the American Optometric Association, the Illinois Optometric Association, West Suburban Optometric Association and a TLC Laser Affiliate. She specializes in pediatrics, bifocal/specialty contact lens fitting, and pre/post operative surgical care.

Martha T. Kochno, O.D.

Dr. Martha T. Kochno graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1987 after attending the University of Illinois Chicago for her undergraduate studies majoring in Biology.

Upon graduation Dr. Kochno practiced in Florida for five years returning to Chicago in 1992 to be near her family. Originally a Downers Grove native, she still resides in the area and enjoys horseback riding and skiing when not in the office. Although she practices all aspects of optometry she specializes in contact lenses, particularly specialty contact lens fitting. She is fluent in Ukrainian and understands Polish and Russian for our non English speaking patients.
